Pattaya is an interesting city in Thailand that  has this unique mix between family-friendly day activities, and wild nightlife, which makes it convenient for almost all types of travelers.  Being on the golf, makes water activities a main part of Pattaya’s experience. You’ll find beaches, waterparks, aquariums, and you’ll also find museums, temples, gardens, and cabarets.

Pattaya has no airports. The nearest airport is  the U-Tapao Airport (30 kilometers away) and The Suvarnabhumi Airport in Bangkok (120 kilometers away), so you can plan to add Bangkok to your trip plan, and explore it on the go.

Tip & Tricks

    1. Nightlife can get really wild in Pattaya. It might be intimidating to first timers, so make sure to know more about it.
    2. Pattaya is very  popular with ladyboys (transgenders). It’s very common there, and, usually, they are the main performers in many theaters (cabarets).
    3. Be careful of pickpocketing and purse snatching. Scams are very common in Pattaya, and these are some examples.
